Sharon is located in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire in the Monadnock Region.  The town is bounded to the east by Temple Mountain.  Sharon is 41 miles from Manchester and 75 miles from Boston. 

Sharon is home to the Sharon Arts Center which was founded in 1947.  The center serves as a gallery for local artists, and offers arts and crafts courses.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Sharon’s population at the time was 360 people.  This included 138 households and 113 families.  The average family size was 2.88 and the average household size was 2.61.  Sharon is comprised of 14.6 square miles of land.
